What it is
Shows how much your mutual fund units have gained or lost.
How it's worked out
Invested = units × average NAV. Current value = units × current NAV. Gain = current − invested, also shown as a %.
What each input means
- Units: How many units you hold.
- Avg NAV: The average NAV you bought at.
- Current NAV: Today's NAV.
Good to know
Your statement shows the average NAV. For future growth from regular investing, use the SIP calculator.
A quick example
1,000 units at an average NAV of ₹50, now ₹62: ₹50,000 became ₹62,000, a 24% gain.
This calculator is in the Lekhya app too — offline, no account, and pre-filled from what you track, like your PPF, EPF and NPS. Nothing leaves your phone.
